Synopsis: They say that good girls go to heaven and the bad ones wherever they want. The boys don’t have much options either. Pasha’s wife left him and now he’s in self-forgetful suffering: drinking, arguing, fighting with the causer of the breakup, doctors, drinking again, pills and even a neurosis clinic. But he gets released from the hospital really fast with the recommendation to start living by himself. It wasn’t easy for Pasha until he met a beautiful stranger. Night, wine, her place... Would the love help this time or does it get better by itself?

Dmitriy Meskhiev: “I really admire Kirill Ryabov’s literature. He’s a young talented writer from Saint-Petersburg with bright works. He writes about people - not about the external, but the inner life of a person. I took a few of his stories, combined them, added some text out of my stories: not going to lie - there were just two phrases from my works, but they were crucial for the unraveling of the plot and the character. “Good girls” is a story of one person, all the other characters act and situations occur around him. The film is about love, friendship, betrayal that hunts a man his entire life, small and big ones, and a total helplessness that the betrayal causes. And it doesn’t matter who betrays you - your friends, co-workers, family or the loved ones. Nobody is ever ready for it. We all try to find peace and stability. But not everyone achieves those goals. We try to hide in friendship, love, with the help of another person, trying to stay with him for the rest of the life, to have someone around you. It concerns the youth and more mature people. I want to combine genres in this film: drama, comedy and melodrama and tell about love, people, about everyone”.
