The Myth of Maracuda Made Its Italian Debut at Cartoons On The Bay Festival

Pescara, Italy – International animation took center stage at this year’s Cartoons On The Bay with the Italian premiere of The Myth of Maracuda – Growing Up Is a Jungle, the latest animated feature from director Viktor Glukhushin. The screening took place on Saturday, May 31 at 8:30 PM at Cinema Teatro Massimo in Pescara, with free admission drawing in a lively audience.
Full of color, energy, and heart, The Myth of Maracuda followed the spirited young Maracuda, the son of a revered tribal chief, as he embarked on a wild coming-of-age journey. Set in a vibrant and imaginative world, the film blended humor and action with a moving reflection on identity and the quest to find one’s place in the world.

Audiences were introduced to a cast of memorable characters, including Tink—a lovable alien bird longing to return home; Rock—Maracuda’s stern and respected father; and Spring—his daring, weapon-savvy older sister.
The Myth of Maracuda – Growing Up Is a Jungle is now playing in theaters across Italy, following its nationwide release on June 5.
