"Moonzy: Homecoming" by Bronzit selected for Seoul Indie-AniFest

Moonzy: Homecoming  directed by Konstantin Bronzit will  be featured in competition at the Seoul Indie-AniFest 2025 in MIRINAE ROAD section, joining the diverse lineup of international animated works. The festival, taking place September 18–23 in Seoul, is a major platform for innovative Eastern films, bringing together artists, audiences, and industry professionals.

Animation master Konstantin Bronzit, well known for his two Academy Award-nominated shorts, (Lavatory Lovestory) and (We Can’t Live Without Cosmos), is back with a new movie.

At first glance, the film may appear to be a whimsical adventure born of pure imagination, yet it subtly carries his signature wit and thoughtful introspection. Through the journey of Moonzy, a lovable child from the Moon in search of his true home, the story explores the embrace of difference, the quest for identity, and the meaning of existence.

At its core, the film asks a simple yet profound question: “What is a true home?”
