“Lermontov. Doomsday" Takes Flight

Air Astana and Air Azerbaijan have acquired in-flight entertainment rights for Lermontov. Doomsday, directed by Bakur Bakuradze.

Recent screenings of Lermontov. Doomsday in Istanbul were held to full houses, attracting more than 2,500 viewers.

The film portrays the final hours of Mikhail Lermontov, the brilliant poet and restless exile who died in a duel at just 26. Set in a quiet mountain town, the story follows the failed attempts of those around him to prevent the inevitable tragedy.

A meditative and atmospheric work, the film captures the inner turmoil of a genius out of time.
