In the dramatic film "Pioneers Heroes" Olga, Kate, and Andrew, once childhood friends, find themselves in the capital city in search of happiness. Each of them has taken different paths in life. Olga, an actress, finds herself trapped in a role that fails to fulfill her artistic ambitions. Kate, working at a prominent PR agency, grapples with her forbidden love for a married man. Andrey, a diligent political analyst, seeks solace in video games after long hours of hard work. Despite their current success, their lives were quite different in 1987 when they were young and aspiring to become heroes as Young Pioneers.
As adults in Moscow, Olga, Kate, and AndreW lead lives tainted by compromises. The pursuit of stability has replaced their youthful dreams of heroic deeds. In a city devoid of grand ideas, genuine emotions, and lofty aspirations, they try to conform to a life that resembles that of others. However, this conformity neither brings them happiness nor satisfaction.
